PG&E kicks off EV-charging pilot project with Honda, IBM

Pacific Gas & Electric is heading up a pilot project that will look at how electric vehicles can communicate with the power grid during recharging, taking battery strength and grid conditions into account. The utility will work with American Honda Motor and IBM, employing Honda's Fit EVs and Big Blue's cloud-based services.
