Tumblr CEO: Brand-friendly features are coming

Tumblr CEO David Karp is the latest niche social network to announce plans for advertising. The company successfully launched a species of promotional ads called "highlighted posts," with more ad features in the pipeline. "We can make these features better for everybody, more useful and friendly to brands who have different considerations than users," Karp says.
