YouTube needs to become more social, exec says

YouTube lacks "great social features" and more needs to be done to engage its 800 million monthly users, says Tom Pickett, the site's global content chief. Google+ integration should help improve YouTube's social elements and make its comments section more social, Pickett says. "Commenting and sharing have been part of YouTube, but the experiences could be much better than they are," he says.
