Burger chains look to salads to show them the green

With the nation's top fast-food restaurants in a crippling price war and consumers demanding healthier fare, restaurant chains such as Wendy's and Jack in the Box are offering premium salads as a healthy, high-profit alternative to burgers. The restaurants say they hope the salads bring in customers who wouldn't have dined there previously.
