Air Force to restructure Lockheed Martin C-130J program

The Air Force is planning to restructure its C-130J cargo jet program in order to gain more pricing information from the jet's manufacturer, Lockheed Martin. The restructuring was prompted by complaints from Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., who questioned why the plane is purchased through a commercial contract that does not require Lockheed to provide complete pricing or cost data. A Lockheed spokesman said the company will adapt to new requirements.
