Marketing company enjoined from spamming

Acting at the request of the Federal Trade Commission and California Attorney General Bill Lockyer, a U.S. District Court judge has ordered Los Angeles-based Optin Global to stop sending unsolicited commercial e-mails until May 10. The company is being investigated for violations of the California law which prohibits sending deceptively labeled commercial e-mails.
