Ortho stocks should gain on Medicare news, analysts say

Analysts predict some orthopedic companies will experience slight gains despite a proposed 0.6% lowering of Medicare fee reimbursements for hip and knee implants. "We believe the slight decline is better than the Street expectation heading into the proposal and thus should be a psychological positive for the hip/knee players," one analyst said.
