Engineer: Quebec overpass showed signs of wear and tear

The de la Concorde Boulevard overpass in Quebec, where five people were killed and six others injured when the overpass collapsed in September, showed clear signs of wear and tear before the collapse, an engineer testified last week. The overpass' concrete abutments showed traces of efflorescence, suggesting concrete degradation, the engineer testified.
