Crossing guard gives her life to protect 8-year-old boy

Ohio crossing guard Dianna L. Sharp, 41, gave her life to protect a second-grader from an oncoming dump truck, pushing him out of the way or shielding him with her own body as they were struck in the crosswalk, police said. Christian Engle, 8, suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive; the truck driver is expected to be charged in the incident.
