FEMA appeals period will end next month in Wisconsin county

FEMA will stop taking appeals related to the new flood map for Wisconsin's Brown County at the end of this month. Residents raised questions about the accuracy of the proposed maps after FEMA presented them in August. FEMA officials noted that any changes must be based on the agency's guidelines. It will have six months to review and implement the changes.
