Two lawmakers back TMJ Implants in dispute with FDA

Reps. Joe Barton, R-Texas, and John Shimkus, R-Ill., are supporting TMJ Implants as it challenges the FDA's dispute-resolution process in court. The legislators last week sent a letter to FDA Commissioner Andrew von Eschenbach that questions the agency's practice of informing firms about their right to appeal a decision when it plans to carry out enforcement actions.
