How work-life balance can help your bottom line

Freek Vermeulen, associate professor of strategic and international management at the London Business School, says many organizations are stuck in a 1980s-era culture that does not recognize the need to help workers balance their jobs and their lives. Vermeulen cites research by the University of New Mexico which showed stock prices began increasing in the 1990s when a company announced work-life initiatives.
