Loophole in stimulus package rankles House Republicans

Republicans on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee warned that some states could take advantage of a loophole in the economic stimulus package to divert Medicaid funds to other programs. An administration official, however, said the stimulus package is designed to provide states the flexibility to manage their budgets and raise funding for critical operations during the recession.
