Poll: Few North American shops get fees for new business pitches

Only 5% of North American shops have been paid for pitching an account compared with 56% of European-based agencies, according to a survey by Worldwide Partners of its 45 agency affiliates. Just less than half said potential accounts rarely or never paid them for their ideas, the poll found.
