Tribes join chorus of opponents against Cape Wind project

A coalition of national Indian tribes has put its support behind local Massachusetts tribes in opposing the Cape Wind project planned for Nantucket Sound, off the coast of Hyannis, Mass. The tribes oppose the Cape Wind location due to culture, religious and archaeological impacts on a sacred site, and they join opponents including the AOPA, which says the project could cause radar interference and could impact visual flight rule flights.
