Former NASA Administrator Michael Griffin and ex-astronauts Jim Lovell, Gene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt are part of a group that has launched a counterattack on President Barack Obama's plan to end manned space exploration. "We strongly urge you to drop this misguided proposal that forces NASA out of human space operations for the foreseeable future," said a portion of the letter the group sent to the Orlando Sentinel.
