Hawaiian says aloha to 500 workers from defunct rival

In the two years since Aloha Airlines grounded its planes for good, more than 500 of its former employees have landed new jobs with prospering Hawaiian Airlines. And with expansion plans in the works, Hawaiian expects to welcome even more. "There is definitely sentimental hope among everyone at Hawaiian to help out former Aloha employees," said Mark Dunkerley, president and chief executive officer of Hawaiian Holdings Inc.
