Hotel sale leaves Michigan without a Ritz-Carlton

Michigan has lost its only Ritz-Carlton hotel with the sale of the Ritz-Carlton Dearborn to an investment group. Greenwood Hospitality Group, the new management company for the hotel, says a decision will be made in a month on what brand the hotel will become when it loses its Ritz-Carlton flag on June 2. The new owners, who were not disclosed, reportedly are planning a multimillion-dollar makeover of the property.
