Magna forecasts 3% growth for TV in 2010

Advertising in the U.S. will improve 1.6% in 2010, while television revenues will see a 3% gain from 2009, even excluding political ads and the Olympics, according to Magna's U.S. Media Advertising Revenue Forecast. TV is still the largest ad segment, but online is gaining. "Online advertising will once again prove to be the fastest growing medium during 2010, with paid search alone rising 16.8%," the report read.
