PACE program helps troubled physicians return to work

The Physician Assessment and Clinical Education Program helps physicians accused of everything from sloppy paperwork to negligence and medical errors deal with their problems and return to practice. PACE faculty and staff work with computer simulation, exams, cognitive screenings and observations but also use their gut feelings to determine whether a physician is fit to return to work.
