Rochester upgrades security with $7M baggage screening system

New York state's Greater Rochester International Airport has finished its three-year, $28.5 million makeover, which includes a fully automatic inline baggage handling system that automatically inspects checked baggage for explosives and other threats. GRIA worked with the Transportation Security Administration to create the $7 million upgrade and to train private security personnel to handle screenings.
