State hears complaints about special-needs programs in Ohio district

Ohio education officials heard from parents of students with disabilities at a meeting held as part of a special-education investigation in the Worthington school district. Parents told stories and expressed concerns about the services provided by district schools in the second visit from state officials in just two school years. District administrators, who also attended the meeting, said they are working to improve programs for students with special needs.
