"Vapor wake" dogs are trained to detect explosives in air

Puppies participating in a program at a kennel in Anniston, Ala., are being bred for "vapor wake" traits, or the ability to detect the scent of explosives in the air. The dogs undergo 25 weeks of training, and fewer than 2% are expected to make the cut.
