While hiring isn't robust, industry analysts say demand is growing for Wall Street financial workers -- including risk managers who help stop employers from repeating the risky behavior that nearly toppled the industry 18 months ago. "The people getting jobs now are the ones with specialized skill sets," says Jeff Visithpanich, a consultant.
