Concrete mixers parade into downtown Chicago for Wacker rebuild

Chicago's busy Wacker Drive is about to get reconstructed. An army of concrete-mixing trucks will march downtown to assist in rebuilding seven intersections. More than 1,100 cubic yards of concrete will be placed 13 inches deep once work begins on Friday. The concrete that will be used is equal to that used in sidewalks on 18 city blocks.
