Investigators examine whether banks colluded on Libor

Law-enforcement officials in the U.S. have been looking into whether American and European banks colluded to manipulate the London Interbank Offered Rate before and during the financial crisis. Specifically, investigators are examining whether the banks coordinated understatement of their borrowing costs from 2006 to 2008. Regulators reportedly are focusing on UBS, Citigroup and Bank of America.
