Report: 2010 Web ad sales passed newspapers for first time

The online ad spend last year reached an all-time high of $26 billion and for the first time surpassed newspapers, which had $22.8 billion, a report from the Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers has found. Web ad revenue increased 15%, and the platform is ranked behind TV, which tallied $68.7 billion, as the top ad medium.
