Ariz. autism center plans app to make long-distance diagnoses

The Phoenix-based Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center plans to begin testing this summer a mobile-device application to assist with faster autism diagnoses. Specialists from the center would view videos of children uploaded to a special website to make a diagnosis, but parents still would need to find a local specialist for follow-up treatments.
