Shell, Williams Partners reach gas, liquids supply deal

Royal Dutch Shell and Williams Partners are forming a joint venture to supply natural gas and liquids to petrochemical facilities in northwest Pennsylvania, including a proposed ethane cracker. Williams is set to invest $150 million in the partnership, to be called Three Rivers Midstream. The unit will be operated by Williams, and Shell will have the right to increase its investment in the venture by mid-2015.
