Truvia posts 7% U.K. growth

Truvia said sales of sweeteners in the U.K. were up 7% in 2012, with 80% of the growth attributable to its stevia-based sweeteners introduced to the U.K. in January 2012. "Bringing Truvia sweetener to the U.K. market marked a major step forward for consumers, opening up an entirely new category of sweetness: calorie-free and sweetness from a leaf," said Mark Brooks, business director for Truvia Consumer Products.
