FINRA sends investor-complaint rule to SEC

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority has sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission a proposed rule aimed at keeping investors informed of misconduct by brokers. The rule, which must be approved by SEC to take effect, would prohibit settlements of investor complaints from requiring that a broker's record of misconduct be expunged.
