Miss. school district pilots game-based platform for math

Educators at a school in Mississippi are using a game-based program featuring an animated penguin to help students learn math. The penguin -- JiJi -- is a character in the ST Math program, which uses spatial awareness to teach math concepts. Students spend 90 minutes a week working with the program.
