Tax-break proposal could jumpstart stalled $550M Boston mixed-use project

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh has proposed a $4.6 million tax break for the long-stalled $550 million Fenway Center development project to jump-start construction. The 1.3 million square-foot development involves construction of five mixed-use buildings that will house apartments, retail, dining and office spaces. The board of directors of the Boston Redevelopment Authority are scheduled to vote on the proposal on Thursday.
