Milwaukee School Choice Program Threatened

The state Senate last week voted to cut $23 million in state aid, putting a major dent in the Milwaukee school district system's acclaimed school choice program. More than 500 school choice supporters reportedly attended a rally organized by former Milwaukee Superintendent Howard Fuller. Many legislators expect funding for the program to be restored, a report says.
