FCC exploring what to do with school TV spectrum

The Federal Communications Commission may allow schools to auction unused portions of their television spectrums to private companies. Schools have the airspace for in-school broadcasts and could use the money to compensate for budget shortfalls, a move critics say is shortsighted.
