St. Paul readies for wave of immigrant Thai children

This summer, as many as 3,000 Hmong school-age refugees from Thailand will arrive in St. Paul, Minn. The city is halfway toward its goal of recruiting 1,000 reading tutors, who will spend one-on-one time with the children in their classrooms to help them become fluent in English.
