Arizona Senate approves snack food ban

If passed by the House and signed by the governor, the law would prohibit elementary and middle schools from selling soda and sugary snacks during the school day, requiring them to offer a selection of healthier snacks. However, the law does not prohibit children from bringing their own snacks and soda to school.
