Michigan bill looks to protect workers' rights outside of work

In the wake of a Michigan business' move to fire four employees for their choice to smoke, a bill was introduced this week in the state Senate that would protect employees' "personal time." Okemos, the company that crafted the policy which is legal under state law, says its intent is to cut health costs and to encourage workers to take more interest in their personal health care.
