Vodkas vie for second billing on top shelf

While V&S Vin & Spirit AB Co.'s Absolut brand has a comfortable lead in U.S. sales of imported vodkas, Bacardi & Co.'s Grey Goose, introduced in 1997, is inching its way toward second place, threatening to eclipse Allied Domecq's Stolichnaya vodka. Stoli isn't giving up without a fight, however: A print campaign created by Publicis Groupe agency Publicis USA pokes fun at rival Grey Goose for using the results of a 1998 taste test to back its claim that it is the best-tasting vodka in the world.
