Wisconsin governor vows veto of any legislation blocking stem cell research

Wisconsin's governor accused Republicans in the legislature of blocking new research in the state and discouraging biotech businesses from locating in the state by eliminating tax breaks for firms that try to develop new stem cell lines. Gov. Jim Doyle said he will veto any legislation that restricts such research or affects companies engaged in the business.
