Trans issue impacting anti-bias bill in Sunshine State

Although a ban on bias based on sexual orientation stands a good chance of passing the Florida Legislature, many LGBT activists oppose the measure because it does not cover discrimination based on gender identity. A more inclusive measure is not being supported by state House leaders.
