Deere says it will eliminate 200 jobs through voluntary separations

Deere & Co. plans to combine manufacturing divisions, a move that will cut about 200 positions. The new unit, called the agriculture and turf division, will manufacture tractors as well as riding lawn mowers. The company also plans to consolidate six branch sales offices into two offices in Kansas and North Carolina.
