Louisiana governor recommends state spend surplus on roads

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal recommended the state legislature earmark a surplus from last year worth almost $246 million for transportation infrastructure. Jindal would like to apply the budget surplus funds to construction and repairs of the state's highways and bridges. According to Jindal, the money could fund 143 projects across Louisiana.
