PCI: Uninsured drivers in Miss. raise insurance rates overall

PCI representative Alex Hageli says the high number of uninsured drivers in Mississippi is driving up premiums for drivers who do have coverage. "It's [sometimes] not much more money, but it's more money," Hageli says. Hageli says he's skeptical that state regulators will be able to reduce the number of uninsured drivers by tracking motorists who drop coverage, saying lack of resources makes it difficult to effectively enforce auto insurance laws.
