Australian officials act to prevent testing boycott

Australian government officials are working to prevent teachers from boycotting national tests next month in protest of the controversial My School Web site, which ranks schools online based on student scores. Queensland Education Minister Geoff Wilson said he is seeking action by the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission to prevent the boycott. Union officials say that because teachers are not striking, there is nothing the commission can do.
