Health care reform boosts climate-and-energy bill

Passage of the health care reform bill may have improved the chances of the Senate approving a simpler and more moderate version of the House-passed climate-change legislation, according to Steven Pearlstein. Although details in the bill must still be ironed out, there is a good chance that it will gain the support of oil giants, along with major utilities and industrial groups, Pearlstein writes.
