JPMorgan's report marks a turning point on Wall Street

Jamie Dimon, CEO at JPMorgan Chase, offered investors concrete signs that the economy is recovering and Wall Street's mood has improved. "Large companies have got lots of money, lots of liquidity and complete access to markets," he said. The bank reported that its first-quarter profit increased more than 50% compared with the same period last year. "This could be the makings of a good recovery," Mr. Dimon said.
