Keep your forum's front door open wide

Asking people to register or disclose information about themselves before they read your content or access your forum is a quick way to slash traffic, writes Richard Millington. It's far better, he argues, to make it easy for people to read your content, and to delay asking for registration until they're hooked on your community and eager to participate directly.
