Assistive-technology project wins top honors in Microsoft contest

A team of students from Arizona State University won the top prize in the Microsoft Imagine Cup this week for their invention of technology to help students who cannot see or who have visual impairments take notes in class. The Note-Taker bested entries from more than 70,000 students nationwide, and will represent the U.S. at the world competition in July.
