Carbon fiber can "armor" buildings against terrorist atttack

Carbon-fiber reinforced polymer could be the answer to fortifying structures against terrorist attack, says one researcher. The fabric can handle 143,000 pounds of force per square inch, providing additional strength and protection for reinforced concrete buildings -- even against explosions.
